NAM has around 900 employees and more than 475 Nordic and international institutional clients. About this opportunity Welcome to the Global Trading in Nordea Asset Management. We add value by sourcing liquidity for our investment teams and optimise trading execution. What you’ll be doing:

• You will be required to act swiftly and adapt to market change, organizational change or new technology.
• You will have an important role in developing the trading desk, where you will have a significant impact in forming and developing our platform in close collaboration with the rest of the team.
• This is an opportunity for you to join a highly specialized trading team with the vision to become a leading European trading desk. We aim to be courageous and explorative in our trading approach, to be innovating and constantly in search of optimization.
• It is expected that you have experience with trading, monitoring and improving trading strategies, systems and processes. You must have an interest in developing trading technologies/systems and possess a desire to influence how the future trading desk will look like.
• You will be communicating with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, which is why good communication skills in English and one of the Nordic languages is a requirement.
• You will join our team of skilled professionals in an environment brimming with energy and activity, where your contributions will enhance our portfolio managers capacity to generate the best returns for our clients
• Based in Copenhagen, the job entails overseeing global equities trading, which means that you might occasionally be asked to work during US trading hours.

Your professional profile and background:

• Master degree in finance, economics, or other relevant discipline
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant trading experience in either a Nordic or International Investment Bank, Hedge Fund or Asset Manager.
• Experience in executing equity instruments across voice and electronic channels
• Knowledge of working with data driven decision making
• Knowledge and interest in equity market structure and regulation
• Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail
• Experience with data structuring and programming languages is desirable
