Responsibilities
Together with our development team you will be responsible for developing and maintaining an in-house product called ATOZ.
About the team
We are working in a relaxed atmosphere with lots of humor. We are a modern team working with the latest technologies and applying the DevOps and Agile methodologies in our daily work. We strive to build robust systems with an emphasis on code quality. We value personality and independence, but at the same time we love to help each other with sparring and pair programming.
We have built our delivery process around SCRUM. We constantly evaluate on and adjust the process to make sure we do things because it makes sense and not because we must.
We’re currently 9 people on the team. There is a Tech-lead and a Solution Architect on the team, as well as a Business Analyst.
The systems
The team is working on a system, which aims to digitize BunkerOne, which is the part of the company handling physical oil-trading. This includes purchase, sales, inventory/risk management, logistics, barge operation, and more. We’re using a .NET Core based backend in a service-oriented architecture, which run exclusively in Azure (AKS, Azure-SQL, Azure-SignalR, etc).The frontend is built in Angular/RxJs.
Everything is setup using Azure DevOps-pipelines to ensure a smooth CI/CD experience.
About you
At Bunker Holding we value teamwork and offer a high degree of influence and freedom which is why we are looking for someone who:
- Has a strong technical background, with at least 5 years of development experience in the following areas
- .NET/C# development
- SQL-Server
- You are also familiar with automated testing, SOLID, DDD, Service oriented Architecture and other modern development techniques
- Has a desire to help bring value to the business via software solutions.
- Is interested in communicating with end-users, trying to understand their business needs and the complex business processes.
- Has an urge to make robust solutions and able to balance the fine line between pragmatic solutions and creating high quality software.
- Has opinions, is outgoing and speaks their mind.
- Values being part of a product team and contribute to team success.
- Is curious by nature and seeks information regarding new technologies and ways of solving problems.
- Values quality highly and as team ensures this through pair-programming, code-reviews and automated testing.
- You speak English on a professional level since the team is multi-lingual.
Some experience with the following backend-technologies is a bonus, but not a requirement:
- Azure DevOps
- Azure Service Bus
- Docker / Azure Kubernetes Service
