The job
Here’s what the job entails
Our asset-backed business is growing, therefore your primary function will be to act as an important stakeholder for our Asset Management teams and eventually become an expert within the operational management of master data related to flexible and renewable assets. Specifically, your areas of responsibility will include the following:
- ensure high quality and maintenance of various types of master data related to commodity trades, including management of flexible and renewable asset master data
- ensure that trade controlling operations are executed in a precise and timely manner
- handle controlling and settlement of certificate trades
- drive optimisation of operational processes

Meet the team
You will join our Trade Controlling & Reporting team, which works with trade validation and master data. Our team consists of seven skilled, quality-minded and committed colleagues, who all contribute with their diverse professional and educational backgrounds. The team acts as an operational link in Danske Commodities that connects the power asset portfolio. We create value by ensuring proper trade controlling, timely reporting and high-quality master data. Gathering these tasks in one team creates a more efficient operational trading setup, which also paves the way for us to grow our asset-backed business.
You will play an important role in our value chain by connecting our front office trading activities with our back office processes.

Your qualifications

To ensure well-running business operations, we are looking for someone who takes an analytical approach to problem-solving, chooses the best solution and sees opportunities where others see problems. We also picture you as someone eager to take responsibility as you role includes driving things forward and challenge status quo.
We also imagine that you:
- are a recent graduate within for example finance or economics or have 1-2 years of experience from a similar position or as a business controller. However, your background is not the tipping point
- are great at coordinating and enjoy collaborating with different stakeholders
- are proficient in English – both written and verbal
Please note that it is not a requirement to have prior knowledge of the energy industry to enter this role.
