Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for the Hub’s management of all project execution activities in the area of responsibility. Ensures operations are executed in accordance with company procedures, relevant cybersecurity regulations and standards, contract specifications, quality standards, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements, financial targets, and schedule commitments. Coordinates and oversees team development and standardized process development to continually improve the effectiveness of Project Execution teams The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the project execution function of Process Automation Energy Industries Division of ABB in the Northern Europe Region. You will be mainly accountable for: • Ensures that the Hub’s portfolio of projects is managed consistently based on best practices and ABB policies, controls, and requirements. • Leads and coaches the Project Execution teams to achieve defined business objectives and provides guidance to the teams and seeks knowledge for their own development and coaching/mentoring of the teams. • Develops project execution capacity and capability in line with ABB policies, directives, instructions, and guidelines. • Leads the implementation of continuous improvements for the project execution strategy for local or regional Project Operations. • Promotes and enables collaboration in the Hub and across the Division to maximize results for ABB. Manages relationships with stakeholders in their own area of responsibility and ensures alignment.

Qualifications for the role

• You must have proven experience in project execution, preferably both from small/medium and large complex projects.
• Ability to assess risks and opportunities of projects.
• Good understanding of project finance and costing
• Knowledge of organizational change, transformation and continuous improvement management
• Ability to influence and make positive impact to the project execution and management team.
• Degree in Engineering is an advantage.
• You are at ease communicating in English, verbally and in writing.
