Your role and responsibilities
We are offering you a position as a project manager that will allow you to work with cutting edge technology, advance your knowledge through strong coursework and certification programs, thrive in a welcoming environment, and participate in a variety of activities both inside and outside the working office. If you are passionate about helping our customers to be more competitive and reduce their global footprint by setting new standard in the Swedish process industry, don’t hesitate to send in your application. As a member of a regional PMO team in Europe, you will carry out digital projects in Sweden and, if required, other European nations. The role reports to Head of Project Management Office. • Plan the project activities and resources from execution to delivery, according to time, budget, and scope with high quality assurance. • Monitor progress and tracking roadblocks, managing project risks. • Build a strong team around you, strive to show leadership, and have the confidence to change the status quo. • Run several projects at the same time, in varying sizes. • Live ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business. • Continuously use critical thinking, continuous communication, and negotiations skills in a workplace where sustainability and digitalization are in focus. • Manage relationships with project stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and highly skilled internal teams. • Stay updated on industry best practices and project management methodologies. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance project delivery

Qualifications for the role

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree within software engineering, or equivalent.
• Background in project management, preferably at least 3 years.
• Experience of running industrial projects is merited.
• Flexible and digital mindset, eager to learn and grow.
• Communicative personality motivated by accomplishments and collaborative spirit.
• Scrum Master certification would be advantageous.
• Fluency in Swedish and English, written and spoken alike, is required.
