The Position
As our new Laboratory IT & Data Support Professional, you will connect equipment from our GMP facilities and non-GMP Laboratories to our corporate network and make data available to our colleagues who develop our API (drug) processes.

You will take on the challenge of:

• Ensuring data collection from various laboratory and industrial equipment using for instance the OSIsoft PI System

• Build data pipelines from equipment all the way to the appropriate storages, involving multiple stakeholders and complying to IT security and network requirements

• IT system maintenance and end-user support tasks

You will be working in a flexible working environment where most of your colleagues are IT end-users with engineering or life-science backgrounds. We are not shy about learning and trying new things and have a natural desire to always look for smarter ways of doing things. Your input and background will be appreciated as it brings different angles to our discussions and way of working.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:

• A master’s degree within computer science, natural sciences, engineering, or other relevant degree

• A Background qualifying IT part of GMP laboratory equipment

• Experience with OSIsoft PI or other data collection platforms

• Experience with setting up computers and data pipelines

• Coding skills in relevant languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#)

• Good communication skills in English

It would be considered as a plus if you have knowledge of GMP and validation of equipment.

You are self-motivated to search for information and take responsibility when the tasks you are presented are not pre-defined. You are service-minded and enjoy assisting your stakeholders when they struggle with an issue that you can solve. About the Department
As part of Novo Nordisk PSQIT organisation, Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) Development & Scaling makes a real difference for patients with chronic diseases across the world. We develop, manufacture and distribute drug candidates for clinical trials and have a strong culture with a “can do” mind-set. At CMC API Development, we specialize in creating APIs (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients) for clinical trials. Our Digital Development team is responsible for the laboratory equipment's IT components and associated data. To better support data collection from equipment and integration with other data sources, we're upgrading our IT and automation platform. This includes identifying our future needs and implementing IT and data solutions that fulfil those needs. In some cases, we'll adopt generic solutions available across Novo Nordisk, and in others, we'll implement and maintain local solutions that are more tailored to our requirements.
