Core Responsibilities
Enroll as Senior Global Marketing Manager to drive LEGO® NINJAGO as a communication lead and a brave Ninja. Collaborating closely with the team of 3 people, you play a key role in leading, developing, and innovating the marketing activities for the most successful home-grown IP of all times! Work across various functions to identify consumer, shopper, and retailer insights and implement marketing activities that will continue to grow the profitability of the IP, while securing its growth. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Drive and own the communication strategy and execution from brief to playbook, to final toolbox and editorial plan delivery across the different communication initiatives.
  • Identify new ways to reach consumers and shoppers through adopting a “test and learn” approach, helping us to address and differentiate between a broad target audience with various IP affinity levels: younger, older and their parents, adult fans, exploring new communication touchpoints and ways to engage to build and fuel Fandom across ages.
  • Collaborate with our Content Development, Production and Distribution (EPIC) teams to develop the best-in-class content buzz and content viewership. Lead, guide and inform the regions into implementation of content, product and marketing alignment strategies.
  • Be the guardian of an amazing IP experience across the ecosystem and secure execution of visual identity consistency in all marketing assets and channels.
  • Build and lead strong relationships and collaborate cross functionally with various partners across the LEGO eco-system to create compelling entertainment extensions and engaging consumer activations from planning to actual execution.
  • Build and apply validated knowledge around effectiveness and efficiency of our marketing campaigns.
  • Be the sparring partner for the LEGO® NINJAGO marketing team - informing the overall vision and long-term strategic direction.

Play your part in our team succeeding
As Senior Global Marketing Manager for LEGO®NINJAGO you will join the LEGO Core Businesses, be part of a team of 3 passionate Ninja marketeers and will report to the Head of Product leading the team. We identify overall marketing objectives and strategies and develop these into strong content, product and marketing concepts for the global market. This includes the development of long and short form content, assortment, packaging and campaign material as well as approving product and campaign execution.

The NINJAGO franchise is a part of the Global Product & Marketing department where we develop and manage the global portfolio of concepts and products – short, medium, and long term - and are responsible for developing a portfolio which can deliver to the consumer sales and profitability objectives of the LEGO Group.

Do you have what it takes?

  • 5+ years of marketing and / or brand experience within an international environment.
  • Extensive brand marketing experience and expertise in the full spectrum of communication touchpoints - where you have shown your strategic mentality.
  • Solid experience delivering innovative and integrated marketing campaigns, ideally for content driven IPs, that have enabled the growth of the IP.
  • Passionate about understanding consumers and shoppers and turning insights into action, creating meaningful IP experiences for kids.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skill and attention to detail.
  • Ability to drive meaningful innovation, willingness to take calculated risks, and agility in responding to the changing internal and external landscape.
  • Proven record guiding and developing informal teams and running broad collaborator networks. As an effective relationship builder and team-worker, you have the ability to make an impact across various functions, business units, regions, cultures and partners.
