Danske Bank’s Business Controls and Product Management (BCPM) team is a key component in supporting the risk agenda for the Large Corporates & Institution (LC&I) segment. The BCPM team is pivotal in ensuring that Danske Bank's services within the largest customer area are aligned with commercial objectives while maintaining robust risk management practices.
Understand the global market – and support it!
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join our BCPM team as the Head of Global Markets BCPM. In this role, you will oversee the team supporting the market area Global Markets based in LC&I. Your key responsibilities includes:
- Ensure risk management practices are integrated within the Global Markets area
- Provide timely accurate reporting and governance within risk management of the market area
- Manage and mentor a team of up till 16 experienced colleagues in Denmark and Lithuania including two leaders
- Collaborate with stakeholders across all lines of defence to prioritize and mitigate critical business risks.

Strategic leadership and visionary thinking.
It is crucial that you have profound understanding of the Markets area in particular the regulation surrounding the area as MAR, MiFID, EMIR and Dodd-Frank. You understand how the area functions in daily life and financial services as well as strong understanding of the large corporates and institution area.
It is also important that you bring a strong regulatory understanding of the area and operational risk management, while we also would like you to have:
- A relevant master’s degree in laws, finance, business administration, or a related field
- Significant experience in banking, finance, or risk management, preferable within the Global Markets area
- Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and oral.
We are hoping that you also bring knowledge about market and model risks as managing those risks is a part of the Global Markets BCPM team’s responsibilities.

The role is placed in Central Copenhagen, with hybrid working options available.
