As we continue to grow and enhance our impact, we are seeking skilled professionals to join our Operations team as Cross Border Payments Specialist. This role is designed for individuals with a few years of experience in the financial sector, particularly in handling cross-border payments, who are looking to advance their careers in a dynamic and innovative environment.
As our new Cross Border Payments Specialist, you will be an integral part of our International Payments team, reporting to Andreas Petersen. Our dedicated team of experts, based in both Copenhagen and Aarhus, focuses on facilitating and optimizing various cross-border payment processes within the broader Transaction and Core Banking domain.

- Relevant Experience: Experience from a similar position or areas such as; case handling, operations within the finance industry, or correspondent bank collaboration.
- Professional Communicator: Fluent in English with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
- Tech-Savvy: Strong interest and proficiency in IT systems, essential for managing a significant portion of your work.
- Proactive and Independent: Capable of taking full ownership of tasks and cases while demonstrating an independent mindset
- Analytical Mindset: Skilled at identifying patterns and similarities in your work, motivated by research and data analysis.
What will you do?
- Operational Efficiency:Work diligently to maintain smooth and efficient operations, uphold high accuracy and reliability standards in all cross-border payment activities, and consistently meet team ambitions to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research and analysis to handle cross-border payment cases efficiently.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve complex cases and inquiries related to cross-border payments that have not reached the beneficiary.
- Collaboration: Engage in dialogue and collaborate with various Payments and Back Office teams.
- Process Optimization: Continuously seek new and improved methods to enhance our customer service.
- Interdepartmental Coordination: Work closely with Customer Support and Financial Crime Prevention teams in handling cross-border payments.
