If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! Join us as a Manager for our Development Test Center at site Kalundborg.

The position
Our Technology and Innovation Development Test Center at site Kalundborg is a strategically important element in growing Novo Nordisks’ aseptic manufacturing network.

In this role, you will be tasked with developing and overseeing our Development Test Center facility which includes a complete aseptic filling line. The facility is currently utilized for development and testing of new technology and solutions, for onboarding and training of development staff, and for production of test materials. You will be responsible for the future development of the facility together with the team.

You will lead the team at the facility as well as a portfolio of projects within aseptic manufacturing. You will also take part in our cross functional leadership team, where we strive to create an innovative and inspiring environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Develop and execute a strategy to secure further development and maintenance of the facility to serve Novo Nordisk's aseptic manufacturing development needs.
• Lead, inspire and develop your team, which currently includes of skilled workers, operators, an automation engineer, and apprentices.
• Manage development projects within aseptic manufacturing.
• Plan and prioritize tasks, including development, test, maintenance, training, and production.
• Align with key stakeholders in our development and production network while contributing to the department's leadership and overall strategic development.
• Create an inspiring and inclusive innovation environment and culture.

You can work out of our offices in either Kalundborg or Bagsværd, however with days at both sites, e.g. a 2:3 or 1:4 split.

Qualifications
To thrive and succeed, we expect you to have:

• A Technical degree.
• At least 5 years of experience from pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Experience with leading people or projects within pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• A global and innovate mindset with ability to think outside the box.
• Ability to collaborate with people with diverse skills.
• Good communication skills and professional proficiency in Danish and English.

About the department
In the Aseptic Manufacturing, Technology and Innovation, Engineering, we drive innovation and develop technologies to prepare Novo Nordisk Aseptic Manufacturing for the future. We scale our production to serve more patients through a compliant and efficient production network on the forefront of technology.

We are responsible for development of equipment and systems from ideation until the first successful pilot implementation. Our skills include aseptic manufacturing and process expertise, mechanical design, automation, robotics, modelling, simulation, and equipment validation. We are responsible for a Development Test Center in Kalundborg and an Innovation lab in Bagsværd. Out team currently counts app. 50 employees plus students and consultants. We are an engaged, diverse, and international team working primarily from our offices in Bagsværd, Gentofte and Kalundborg.
