Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to implement the defined digital sales strategy in your specified market scope effectively, to improve ABB’s market penetration and realize growth aspirations in the assigned scope. Each day, you will execute digital sales strategy and initiatives within the assigned scope to achieve both qualitative and quantitative digital sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, margin, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by acting as a critical contributor to the digital customer base growth. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries Division of ABB in the Northern Europe Region. You will be mainly accountable for: • Select offerings and develop common Service Portfolio in the HUB – in alignment with the Service Growth Strategy. Maintain focus on Service Pricing and GM% improvement. • Manage the pricing strategies for digital services and go to market approaches together with the product groups, product Managers and Hub • Collaborate with Hub Digital Lead and lead a virtual (indirect) sales support team (Technical Leads/Advisors) to support local service sales. • Develops and grows the service portfolio in the Energy Transition Industries, Offshore Wind, Hydrogen, Carbon Capture and Electrification
Qualifications for the role
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation or another similar course
- Background in service business and good business acumen and customer value focus
- Minimum of 10 years of total experience with around 3 years in a sales function.
- Previous experience in any of the Energy Industries’ conventional and/or renewable power segments.
- Knowledge or experience of Electrical Systems or Control Systems in new Energy Industries will have a distinct advantage.
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, with strong communication, customer relationship-building and negotiation skills.
