Role Overview
As a Web Optimization Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the performance and user experience of Paychex Europe’s four different websites. You will be responsible for analyzing website metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing enhancements. Your tasks will include creating new landing pages, developing strategies for optimizing content, UX/UI, graphics, and imagery to boost lead performance and user engagement. You will collaborate with a team of specialists, including the web development team, media & SEM specialists, email automation specialists, content specialists, and product marketing managers, reporting directly to the Head of Digital Channels.

Your Profile
You are a creative talent who can make data-driven decisions while also crafting design and content briefs for graphic design elements and performance-oriented content. Acting as a key liaison between the end-users of our commercial websites and internal business stakeholders, you will need to understand users’ and customers’ needs and goals and communicate these effectively using both creative and data-based problem-solving.

In a constantly changing landscape of CMS, search engines, customer preferences, technology, and internal business requirements, you need to be tech-savvy and curious to stay up-to-date and adjust content, landing pages, and user journeys accordingly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Publish content to commercial websites.
  • Conduct website audits to identify areas for improvement in performance and user experience.
  • Analyze website analytics data and MarTech stack data to track performance metrics and user behavior.
  • Develop and execute A/B and multivariate testing strategies to optimize website elements.
  • Collaborate with content specialists, web developers, UX/UI and graphic designers, and brand managers to implement new landing pages and content optimizations.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of optimization efforts, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web optimization.
  • Ensure website compliance and GDPR adherence in collaboration with web architects.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Multimedia, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience as a web optimization specialist, web editor, or similar position.
  • Proficiency in web analytics tools.
  • Familiarity (beginner level) with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong understanding of how to publish and work with content in CMS systems (training provided).
  • Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • An open and curious mind.
  • Fluency in Danish and English.
