You will establish and lead User Enabling Product Documentation as a centralized function and competency in Paychex Europe. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, and subject matter experts as well as our Academy department.
You’ll be part of a diverse and dynamic product department and will be working closely with other leads across the organization. You’ll be in direct reference to the Head of Product Operations.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish and lead User Enabling Product Documentation as a centralized function and competency in Paychex Europe as well as facilitate and coordinate resources with other Team Leads in the organization
- Develop and maintain the strategy and supporting processes for User Enabling Product Documentation while staying abreast of industry trends to continuously incorporate best practices
- Facilitate and contribute to the development and maintenance of a diverse range of product-related content, including user guides, documentation (APIs, Integrations, etc.), videos, eLearning, interactive tutorials, knowledge base articles, product updates/news
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all product-related content, playing a proactive role in anticipating content needs early in the product lifecycle
- Ensure content consistency and adherence to company style and formatting guidelines, contributing to a unified and recognizable brand voice.
YOUR PROFILE
We imagine that you have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Danish/English Communications, Technical Writing, Computer Science, or a related field. We expect that you have extensive experience working as a User Enablement Content Creator preferably in the software industry. In addition to this you have:
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of relevant tools and technologies for User Enablement Content Creation including version control systems and content management systems
As you will be establishing User Enablement Content as a new function and competency, we furthermore expect you to:
- Be able to work independently
- Have strong presentation and communication skills
- Have a structured mindset
- Have the ability to influence others and gain consensus proactively
- Have excellent spoken and written English skills proficiency in German or Dutch would be an added advantage (we have colleagues and customers in several European countries)
