You will be part of Vestas Service Supply Chain Organization, in our Global Distribution department. The department consist of a manager and 8 transport specialists and professionals. The team works across the Service Supply Chain organization with a focus on the optimization of transport solutions for the Service business.
The department has an open and informal culture, where teamwork and good communication are key to our growth. You will have the opportunity to work in an exciting industry together with a team of highly motivated colleagues.

Responsibilities
In this position you will be working with the entirety of the Service Division's transport flow both inbound and outbound. Therefore, you will touch upon many stakeholders and work in a diverse role where you will have influence on a lot of the ongoings - minor and major. As the team has built up a good creditability within Vestas and key stakeholders, we hope that you can recognize yourself in the following criteria:

  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders ensuring operations run smoothly
  • Oversee and work closely with carriers and be their point of contact
  • Identify opportunities for improvements within supply chain
  • Improve transport cost reduction across the Service Supply Chain
  • Enable delivery performance improvements
  • Secure service requirements in the transport and support daily transport and customs operation

Qualifications
We believe that for you are a good candidate, if you possess some, if not all of the following qualifications:

  • Preferable 3 to 5 years' experience from working with International Transport Solutions
  • You hold a relevant academic background within transport and customs or supply chain management
  • Hands-on experience from global logistics, transport, and customs
  • Solid pragmatical, structured, and fact-based approach
  • Able to work with limited supervision on identifying improvements areas and taking responsibility for running continues improvements
  • SAP experience
  • English on negotiation level

Additional information
Location: Aarhus N, Denmark.
Travel: Maximum of 40 days per year.
Start date: September 1st, 2024. We are open to meeting your individual requirements.
