The Department Strategy & Development is responsible for managing the Strategy of the Supply Chain Planning Organization in alignment with Global Service Strategy. We serve as an anchor providing overall direction, guiding Prioritization and supporting Execution of the long-term Strategy Objectives coordinating activities across different Regional and Global functions. As a Global function we are responsible to standardize ways of working globally and roll out new procedures to our 5 Regions.
We are currently running a transformative program of the Vestas service Supply Chain with the intent to fully integrate and digitalise our Supply chain at maximum parts availability and capital efficiency. We work with many different stakeholders across the organization and the globe to spear head our focused strategy on digitalization and organizing our Supply Chain to supply 300GW before 2030.

Responsibilities
As the Project Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Handling strategic projects with a time horizon of 1-2 years and with moderate to high complexity, including full ownership for multiple work streams within our 3 years Next Generation Supply Chain Strategy
  • Delivering of agreed project scope within the tolerances for time, cost, quality, scope, risks and benefits
  • Plan, handle, carry out and control the project according to Vestas Governance and report to relevant stakeholders
  • Communicating with stakeholders and escalate when necessary.
  • Developing and coordinating robust project organisations, handling all aspects of the project across the value chain
  • Ensuring compliance with Vestas Way to Market, Project Execution Model and Project Management best practices

Qualifications
To be qualified in this role you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Supply Chain or Engineering
  • 3+ years of Project Management experience, it is beneficial to have worked with Supply Chain Project Management
  • Experience in cross-cultural interactions and international stakeholders' collaboration, and understanding of this is highly desirable
  • Fluent English language skills at negotiation level

Additional information
Location: Aarhus N, Denmark.
Travel: Maximum of 40 days per year.
