In the Product Solutions & Integration Onshore Department, we develop wind energy products and technologies that reduce the cost of energy and bring the highest possible value to our customers and to Vestas. In our department, you will be a crucial part of delivering a holistic strategy for maximizing the value proposition of Vestas onshore turbines across their full lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Continuous Cost Out Improvement: Build a Program Management Office (PMO) for continuous cost out management across the value chain, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities across the full value chain; conduct rigorous analysis of operational processes, supply chain, and overhead expenses to uncover inefficiencies; develop and implement actionable recommendations to optimize costs while maintaining quality
  • Executive Management Reporting: Work closely with senior leadership to create insightful reports and dashboards, translate complex financial data into clear, concise insights for decision-makers, and provide regular updates on cost reduction initiatives, financial performance, and key metrics. and performance.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Design and implement strategic initiatives aimed at achieving long-term cost savings, evaluate investment decisions, capital allocation, and risk management, and monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed to meet financial goals.
  • Change Management and Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business units to drive adoption of cost-saving measures, communicate the rationale behind cost optimization efforts to gain buy-in from stakeholders, and facilitate workshops and training sessions to embed cost-conscious practices across the organization.
  • Industry Benchmarking and Best Practices: Stay informed about industry trends, benchmarks, and emerging practices, benchmark our cost structures against industry peers and identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices to enhance cost efficiency

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in cost optimization and financial analysis, specifically in management consulting.
  • Bachelor's degree in economics, business, or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision-making..
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with reporting tools, BI reporting, financial modelling software, and data visualization platforms.

  • Great communication and presentation skills, with proven capability to engage across technical fields and seniority levels.
  • Proven capabilities to build, strengthen, and enhance a highly performing cross-functional project team.

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
