The position
As a Release Coordinator, you will contribute to the delivery of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) as agreed to in the site production and capacity agreements. You will support the release of API by ensuring the timeliness of release at continuously improving quality and cost. You will act as a coordinator to ensure that all activities related to the release of a particular batch is coordinated with all stakeholders and all activities are performed in the most efficient and timely manner.

Your main tasks will be:

  • Perform activities to support Batch Release
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain Planning to ensure that the agreed amount of API can be released in accordance with release and lead-time targets
  • Initiate and ensure compliance to applicable batch release checklists
  • Prepare overviews and presentations for stakeholders as to what is blocking release
  • Ensure release documentation follows all applicable corporate and local SOPs
  • Provide guidance to stakeholders regarding batch release and related activities

Additionally, you will be supporting systematic problem solving, participate in/review cross-functional investigations and ensure continuous improvement in the release process by evaluating and reporting data and trends. You will be identifying and implementing optimization opportunities to minimise release lead time.

Qualifications
We are seeking candidates who fulfil the following prerequisites:

  • You have a relevant technical education or bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related field
  • You preferably have +3 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate in both Danish and English on a professional level
  • Excellent computer skills in MS Office, hereunder PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Experience in SAP systems or similar ERP/material management systems

Additionally, it would be an advantage with the following:

  • Previous experience with and general knowledge of cGMP manufacturing and production processes
  • General knowledge in Batch Release Processes as related to pharmaceutical or cGMP production processes
  • Project coordination experience, working with cross-functional teams a plus
  • Proven Process Improvement and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in the use of Six Sigma and LEAN tools

As a person, you possess good organisational, negotiation, communication, and collaboration skills. You are able to communicate release needs throughout the organisation as well as develop, manage and achieve action plans.
