Gas Trader for Short-term Gas Trading | InCommodities

In this role, you will be responsible for trading natural gas contracts, optimizing returns, and providing market transparency. You are not required to bring experience in gas trading or energy markets. Most importantly, you must be driven to reach ambitious results, thrive in a collaborative environment, and bring a positive attitude and an eagerness to learn! Your journey as a Gas Trader
We apply a learning-by-doing approach to create a steep learning curve, and you will have a high degree of autonomy – one of our cornerstones in the organization. Therefore, you can expect to be part of making trading decisions shortly after you join our team. Plus, you will be surrounded by highly experienced traders and analysts within the team who will help you to develop into a world-class, short-term gas trader.

Responsibilities

• Trading and optimizing the gas portfolio across Europe
• Develop and act on new and current trading strategies
• Ensure physical delivery of all traded gas contracts
• Coordinate and align strategy with the rest of the gas team
• Participating in our 24/7 shift rotation (evening, night, weekend, and public holiday work)

Qualifications – we imagine that you:

• Have a degree in economics, finance, mathematics or similar
• Have experience in taking strategic risk like trading, betting, poker etc.
• Have a desire to become the best trader
• Are fluent in English – both written and verbal
