We are looking for an Operational Product Manager to join our Product Management team within Industry, Education. The Operational Product Manager (OPM) has the overall product responsibility for products within a specific business area. Currently, we are looking for an OPM for the Student Administration business area and compulsory school for the Swedish market. You are the expert in understanding the customer needs and the compulsory school work flows and processes and should interact both with customers, authorities and keep track on how competitors are developing their products. The Operational Product Manager works closely with the Product Manager who has the overall business responsible for the Student Administration across all school forms, but the OPM owns the compulsory school products and plan the future development and lifecycle management of these products. You should also build a good relationship with sales and consulting to gain valuable market insight to ensure we are building the most competitive solution for the market.

The Operational Product Manager are responsible for the value proposition and should define the requirements as input to the development process. Furthermore, you should be involved in the refinement process to make sure that the products/features developed are sellable in the end. You should together with sales decide pricing for new products. The Operational Product Manager are responsible for keeping the product documentation up to date and should be able to present the products both internally and externally. Whenever there is a procurement coming up, you are actively engaged in the process and responsible for reading through the requirements and answer how we fulfill them.

You will report to Head of Product Management in the Product Management organization but work closely to the Product Manager.

We expect you to have:

• Academic or teacher degree. Technical studies in addition are a plus.
• 5-10 years’ work relevant experience from teaching, other education or governmental organization related experience, similar role within product management, sales or consulting for educational products and services.
• Good at gathering needs and insights and able to prioritize to generate high customer satisfaction and business value.
• Product/solution experience, especially in developing value propositions and value argumentation.
• Clear and convincing communicator, both internally and externally.
• Strong project management skills.
• Fluent in Swedish and English

This position is preferably placed in Stockholm or Skellefteå but we are open to other locations depending on candidate.
