Your role and responsibilities
If your professional interest is founded within network and cyber security and you want to make an impact beyond the average, this job is your perfect match.
Your overall focus will be to ensure that our customers get the right network solutions with up-to-date cyber security standards fully integrated. As such, you will unfold your skills across advisory, design, configuration, risk assessment, monitoring and documentation – and you will do it for customers with very different levels of maturity within cyber security.
A vital part of your job will be to strengthen the Danish defence against hostile cyber-attacks on our utility companies that deliver the power, water etc. that Denmark cannot function without. Furthermore, your solutions will be used in front-runner projects within the green transition, e.g. solutions for Carbon Capture and Storage and Power-To-X.
The goal is to establish you as Subject Matter Expert and go-to-person for both customers and ABB colleagues when it comes to network and cyber security. As long as you bring a good foundation and motivation for development, we are ready to invest in you with relevant education and training.

You are free to choose, if you want to be based in Ballerup or Middelfart. Everywhere, we have hybrid workplace with major flexibility.
Your responsibilities:
• Advice customers on cyber security – threats, standards, opportunities etc.
• Protect customer systems from security threats
• Design network solutions
• Configure firewalls and networks in general
• Ensure that solutions are established in accordance with ABB's regulations, authority and customer requirements
• Contribute to creating a good and uniform architecture across the software solutions
• Become Subject Matter Expert for cyber security and network

Qualifications for the role

• An IT-technical education and a couple of years’ experience within network related IT/OT
• Knowledge within network topology and security
• Knowledge of IEC 62443 and ISO 2700x and NIS2
• Experience across IP protocols and routing
• Experience within cybersecurity functions (e.g., encryption, access control, and identity management) to reduce exploitation opportunities
• Motivation for acquiring relevant cyber security certifications for OT-systems, if you do not have it already
• The ability to explain what is needed for a specific solution and ensure matching of expectations – in an open and accommodating way
