About the job
We are looking for a Manager Engineering Assurance and Reliability – Project Delivery and Engineering to be the focal point for ensuring engineering assurance and reliability for sites both in and approaching operations.
The Project Delivery and Engineering department is the technical know-how centre within Business Area Wind, setting the standards, and guidelines as well as executing our projects, both through the development and implementation phase as well as in operations.

Located within the WTG Engineering department of Project Delivery and Engineering, the Engineering Assurance and Reliability Manager will act as a focal point for reliability and design assurance topics across the engineering backbone, to drawing discipline-specific engineering processes into a site-by-site overview of asset reliability and optimisation. Working with a variety of stakeholders Project Delivery & Engineering and Generation, the Engineering Assurance and Reliability Engineering Manager will also take responsibility for complex project management tasks around and after TG5 to optimise asset handover and operation processes.

Your key responsibilities:
As part of the Project Delivery and Engineering Department and fully deployed to support our Engineering Assurance and Reliability Engineering across the entire Engineering value stream.

  • Ensure Engineering Assurance is developed and transparently Monitoring the Engineering processes from TG2-TG5, and further ensuring the quality process in Engineering work in the operational phase.
  • Develop Team to proactively support quality and reliability processes and drive cross functional process in Engineering
  • Develop and maintain a good overview of the Offshore Projects Quality and Reliability topics
  • Establish a cross functional condition monitoring team that works across WTG, foundation, cables and digital products. Provide the next steps around diagnostics and the ability to bring reliability and condition monitoring closer in one team.
  • Reliability engineering further developed across the entire windfarm and ensure cross functional learnings and using of analytical and diagnostic tools.
  • Project manage Lifetime extensions projects across the portfolio and secure a consistent approach across the portfolio around those
  • Accountable for the overall ticket process from Project Delivery and Engineering and ensuring monthly quality follow up and reporting. Establish the next steps around ticket process towards our stakeholders in Project Delivery and Engineering with further development of the digital toolbox across PD/ENG.
  • Overall project manage cross functional engineering scope towards generation and. The projects can vary from minor cross functional engineering scope and specific scope handed over at TG5 from our Major projects for finalisation through to finalisation according to agreed budget and milestones.
  • Engage in assignments in concept development, project delivery or operational assets as required to ensure engineering assurance and reliability of the assets.
  • Own, Prepare and update key process documents regarding Engineering Assurance and Reliability Engineering for projects and operating assets.

Specific responsibilities in WTG Engineering:

  • Act as the Project and Engineering main responsible to establish and manage Engineering Assurance and Reliability Engineering
  • Ensure the frame work for reliability work within engineering and oversees the development across engineering.
  • Develop support from our Technical Authorities in the different engineering functions to ensure that decisions made for Engineering quality issues are made on an informed basis and with full transparency towards managing our Project or Asset Risk.
  • Prepare learnings from internal and external projects by e.g supporting regular technical exchange forums and update of Engineering processes across Reliability, CMS and assurance
  • Responsible to drive the Development of our Engineering Assurance Framework
  • Participate actively in the structuring and creation of our Engineering Assurance and Reliability Management Team
  • Responsible for tech ticket process from Project Delivery and Engineering

Your profile
Your profile

  • You have a Engineering Management Background and/ or Preferably an engineering university degree (M.Sc. or PhD) with a minimum of 5 years relevant work experience within larger Projects, asset operators not necessarily in wind.
  • A toolbox understanding of what it requires to build a high performing Engineering Assurance, Quality and Reliability focus.
  • Experience as a leader or strong project management experience
  • Experience in Quality Engineering processes and Asset management Risks
  • You command English in both verbal and written form.
  • You possess a positive mind-set, see opportunities with a “glass half full” approach to your work.
  • You are a highly motivated and communicative with enthusiasm and see team work as the right way to achieve
  • You have proven skills in dealing with issues, problems and challenges and can transfer technical and/ or project challenges into solutions.
  • Can take a leading role in order to achieve results and take ownership of the solutions.
  • You are comfortable with changing environment, dynamic organization and an international perspective
  • You show a proactive approach towards stakeholders and will be able to make and implement decisions effectively.
  • You have strong experience in setting up Engineering Assurance framework, Reliability Engineering and the processes that supports minor project processes.
