We are looking for Senior Process Engineers to strengthen our Process Department in Oslo. As a Process Engineer, you will execute designs for offshore wind, hydrogen, CCS, or oil & gas projects.

About the position
As part of Aibel’s team, you will have the opportunity to perform process calculations and simulations across a wide variety of project types. You will be working in a team with strong technical expertise and a multidisciplinary mindset. Proficiency in simulation is highly desirable.

Responsibilities and tasks include

• Calculation and dimensioning of piping, valves, and process equipment
• Prepare P&ID, line lists and design reports.
• Preparation of operating manual, system description, control philosophy
• Prepare and actively participate in HAZOP, design reviews and other relevant safety reviews
• Active collaboration with other disciplines and vendors
• Expertise in process safety or compressor system is beneficial

Qualifications

• Higher technical education within chemical/process engineering (BSc, MSc, PhD)
• Min. 5 years' relevant working experience in engineering, onshore/offshore, study/FEED/detail design
• Experience from NCS or Norwegian onshore projects is an advantage
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, i.e. NORSOK, Ptil/PSA, API standards
• In-depth knowledge of one or more of the following areas: Separation and liquid export, Compressor system design, Heat exchanger design and rating or Process simulations
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken; fluency in Norwegian is preferred
