As our new Commercial Excellence Manager, you will be responsible for driving strategic initiatives which support optimization of BD & Sales. This includes project scoping and execution as well as development and implementation of global processes and tools across Terma’s Commercial teams. In addition, you will play a leading role in driving cross-functional optimization projects across the value chain.

Enhance overall sales performance and efficiency within Terma’s BD & Sales Organization
In this position, you will be responsible for your own projects as well as playing a supporting role in the execution of existing projects in Commercial excellence. This means you will be supporting implementation and anchoring of optimizations to Terma’s way of working with customers and partners across the commercial frontline. You will also play a crucial role in measuring effectiveness of our sales teams and impact of the Commercial Excellence projects.

Moreover, your responsibilities will cover:

  • Co-responsible for Commercial excellence roadmap development and execution.
  • Responsible for scoping, execution and anchoring of new commercial excellence projects.
  • Responsible for representing Commercial Excellence in project interfaces with IT, Finance, Technology and Supply chain.
  • Responsibility for key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess sales team effectiveness and performance.
  • Support development and implementation of sales enablement strategies, providing tools and resources to empower the Commercial team.

How to succeed in this position?
While working strategically, this role also involves a significant degree of working hands-on to resolve challenges in day-to-day operations. Hence, you are expected to thrive with great variations in your daily tasks and take on a solution oriented approach to get things done.

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have:

  • A relevant background, preferably with a master’s degree within business, economics, or a related commercially oriented field.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with Sales excellence, Commercial Excellence or Value Chain Optimization.
  • A strong business acumen combined with a solid interpersonal skill.
  • A proven track record project scoping and execution.
