We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Commercial Strategy Manager to join our newly established and growing team. In this pivotal role, you will shape the future of Terma. Your insights and expertise will be instrumental in shaping decision-making processes and guiding the growth of the commercial organization and Terma Group.

You will report to the Vice President of Commercial Strategy & Insights and Marketing, who in turn reports to the EVP of our global commercial organization.

Your responsibilities will cover:

  • Partner with leadership to co-create the long-term roadmap for Terma's Commercial Strategy & Insights function.
  • Drive major strategic projects across regions, countries, and business areas, ensuring successful implementation and achieving key objectives.
  • Lead the design and execution of the annual growth strategy process, including the strategic framework and annual operating plan.
  • Collaborate closely with the EVP and commercial leadership team to ensure alignment between the overall group commercial strategy and individual business unit strategies.
  • Champion the use of data and insights to drive strategies across the organization.
  • Take ownership of the commercial track for new product innovations, ensuring successful market launch and adoption.
  • Monitor and track the execution of commercial strategies, ensuring initiatives stay on track and deliver results.
  • Mentor and guide a team of insights analysts and managers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Additionally, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

How to succeed in this position?
As a professional, you have a proven track record of success in developing and executing commercial strategies within a B2B environment and you bring a comprehensive strategic toolbox to the table. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in commercial strategy, business development, management consulting, or a similar role, with a strong focus on complex B2B markets.

Additionally, you bring the following:

  • Experience in the defense or security industry is a plus, but not a prerequisite.
  • A master's degree in Strategy, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a relevant field.
  • Experience in driving strategic projects and initiatives across multiple regions or business units.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, competitor analysis, and customer segmentation.
  • Passion for innovation and a strong understanding of how to translate technology advancements into successful commercial outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • You have the ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
