Why this role is important to us
People and Culture in SimCorp has commenced on an exciting journey of transforming the way we provide HR services to the business. We have been live with Workday for three years and today we operate a full global implementation supported by a global People and Culture organization all enabled by Workday. In addition, our Global Finance and Professional Services teams are also fully live on Workday Finance making alignment across the organization critical. As a Senior HR Workday Consultant in the Global Tech Enablement & Analytics team you will be supporting the continuous enhancements and development of our Workday HCM solution.

You will get a unique possibility to play a key role, working across the Workday platform in close cooperation with our People and Culture team and key stakeholders to analyze business requirements, suggest, implement and maintain innovative and efficient solutions. Your main role will be to help design, improve and implement employee lifecycle processes, with the core platform.

You will play a key role in our mission of becoming a truly data-driven organization. To accomplish this we expect you to have great problem solving skills, an analytic mindset and the ability to apply process excellence in all you do. Furthermore, you need to have excellent problem solving skills and to be able to run projects independently and deliver on time.

What you will be responsible for
You will demonstrate operational excellence by ensuring that our HR processes are lean, efficient and aligned across the organization. You will also sometimes take lead on selected people process improvement initiative.

  • Strong configuration support of new HR solutions within Workday HCM – Core, including absence and time tracking.
  • Troubleshooting and fixing bugs
  • Demonstrate good problem solving skills by translating (internal) customer's needs into deliverables and optimized solutions
  • Design, configure/develop new processes within our Workday Platform
  • Through strong project management skills drive process enhancements and smaller projects
  • Coordinate with stakeholders within People & Culture and across SimCorp’s global functions

What we value (our requirements)

  • Minimum 4 years of experience from implementing Workday solutions either as a consultant or through in-house expertise
  • Tech savvy, delivering timely high-quality solutions
  • Good understanding of HR processes
  • Experience in Workday Reporting and/or BI on other solutions
  • Experience with project management
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple work streams simultaneously
  • Analytical thinking and great problem-solving skills
  • Advanced English communication skills
  • Proactive, open-minded, and with the courage to challenge the existing and to be innovative
  • Flexible, analytical, and structured way of working with an agile mindset
  • A team player with the ability to work cross various functions
