The Position
As a System Manager, you will be responsible for the operation of the IT and automation systems used in the production plant. Your role will include a variety of tasks such as:

  • Implementing changes to ensure effective operations and continuous compliance with regulatory expectations, IT security requirements, GAMP5, and GMP standards.
  • Writing and approving change requests, test protocols, and instructions.
  • Contributing to incident management and systematic problem-solving within an ITIL framework.
  • Executing quality activities such as risk assessments and presenting IT systems during audits and inspections.
  • Coordinating activities with various stakeholders, managing system maintenance and changes, and offering advice and consultancy to IT and automation supporters.

Additionally, you will be involved in installations and operational tasks on the Sattline system, identifying improvements and optimizing processes using cLEAN tools, and participating in projects to ensure new IT systems meet user and GMP requirements.

Qualifications
As our new colleague you fulfil several of the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or relevant experience in the field and role.
  • Strong interest in working with and developing skills in automation systems (MES, PCS).
  • Ability to convey complex information to varying audiences, ensuring stakeholder buy-in.
  • Aptitude for solving complex problems to reach practical and applicable solutions.
  • Proficient communication skills in both written and spoken English.

Experience with ServiceNow, ITIL, ABB Sattline, and Octoplant are considered advantages. Additionally, having a strong quality mindset and an analytical approach to challenges will further enhance your suitability for the role.

About the department
You will join the M1 IT Team in Kalundborg, Denmark. We are approximately 65 colleagues in DD&IT API IT and support production plants with the IT solutions needed to run the daily operations.
The M1 IT team consist of 11 employees who run and maintain the production related IT systems in the M1 factory.
We also maintain our IT platform for our automation systems. The team is organised by subjects: System management, IT support. We cooperate closely with the automation support team, which performs the daily support and maintenance tasks related to the IT systems.
