About the department
The Business Integration department within Global Information Security is organisationally anchored in Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT). You will be part of a global information security community with colleagues located in Denmark, USA, India, and Mexico. Our team consists of leading experts in various areas ranging from core information security operations and business information security advisory, to manufacturing security and security risk management, governance, and strategy.

The Business Integration team drives the information security capabilities and advises both Line of Business and the DD&IT organisation on protecting our assets in due diligence and integration projects. The team is part of the overall M&A network in Novo Nordisk that collectively work on realising value from our strategic acquisitions, partnerships, and integrations. This gives a unique insight into the full value chain of Novo Nordisk.

The job
As our new advisor, you will have the following key responsibilities and opportunities:

• Support senior colleagues in conducting information security due diligences and engaging in integration projects as a part of the overall M&A setup in Novo Nordisk
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of how we work and structure information security
• Ensure agreed deliverables are met in a timely fashion and assist with efficient coordination with colleagues
• Alongside the rest of the Global Information Security organisation, serve as an Information Security Advisor to stakeholders throughout the Novo Nordisk value chain by identifying risk and proactively developing mitigating solutions
• Given the fluctuating number of deal activities, you may have the opportunity to broaden your competencies by engaging in infosec awareness activities (behavioural design/human factor), third party security and/or data classification

Candidate profile

• MSc in business administration, IT, data science, information security, or another relevant fiel
• A growth mindset and an interest in applying and learning information security
• A couple of years of relevant experience in information security, pharma consulting, or M&A is preferred. However, newly graduated candidates may also be considered
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Desire to work in a diverse global organisation

You show interest and knowledge in information security and poses interpersonal skills with a high degree of flexibility. In addition, you hold a high intellectual capacity and have a strong personal drive and dedication. You are an effective communicator and fluent in English. It is a requirement that the successful candidate can pass through a background check.
