We are looking for individuals interested in working in installation, commissioning, and/or construction management on projects related to offshore wind, hydropower, aquaculture, hydrogen, industry, oil and gas, decarbonization of oil and gas, infrastructure, and more. If you have expertise and experience related to installation or commissioning in electrical, automation, or telecommunications fields, we would love to hear from you!
General information: As a construction manager, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing projects at construction sites. You will play a central role in various project phases, including installation, testing, and completion. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring and ensuring health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards are met at the construction site. You will closely collaborate with colleagues, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and cooperation. The role offers a varied workday at different sites, with challenging tasks and close collaboration with engineering, project management, and other departments within ABB. A typical workday may involve travel, rotational construction work with longer free periods, shorter construction and service assignments with varying intervals and durations, or a combination of construction work and office/lab tasks.

Qualifications for the role

• Relevant education (Bachelor’s, Master’s, vocational certificate, or technical college).
• Experience from larger industrial projects with well-documented results.
• Strong communication and presentation skills in both Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
• A results-oriented and solution-focused mindset.
• Commercial acumen with a focus on progress and finances.
• A structured work methodology with passion for what you do.
• Strong leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and guide others.
