Your role and responsibilities
If you are motivated by finding solutions in the span between legal and commercial, you will not find a better job than this. As Contract Manager you will be a trusted advisor to Project and Sales Managers that are working with innovative technology projects in the energy sector, including green transition projects like Power-To-X.
You will unfold your skills and generate value across sales activities throughout project execution to final contract closure. In the sales phase, you will lead and be part of negotiations for new contracts as well as extensions and renewals of framework-/service agreements – in close cooperation with Legal, bid managers and teams.
During project execution, you will work distinctly operational and manage and lead commercial activities as right hand to the Project Managers – they own the project and you ensure solid hold of all kinds of commercial and legal aspects.

You will be part of our Northern European Hub Contract Management team and be based in Denmark, and are free to choose whether you want to be based in Ballerup, Middelfart or Esbjerg. Everywhere, we have hybrid workplace with major flexibility.
Your responsibilities:
• Lead Contract Management in daily activities with active involvement to cover commercial aspects as trusted advisor to Project and Sales Managers
• Advise on contractual matters during the sales phase including assessments of bids and commitments
• Lead and/or participate in negotiations with customers, suppliers, and partners
• Provide support for changes and adjustments to contracts and frame agreements
• Manage and lead commercial activities throughout the execution of projects
• Assist project management in project execution – ensure timely execution, claims handling, risk mitigation etc.

Qualifications for the role

• A legal degree at Master’s level or higher education in Business, Finance, Engineering or Project Management – or equivalent experience from working with commercial issues
• 5+ years’ experience from working with contractual and commercial aspects related to projects
• Understanding of and experience with contract management, procurement and logistics
• An open-minded and solution-oriented mindset topped with a go-do approach
• Motivation for an outgoing role with dialogue and relations as key words
• Overview, including the ability to manage multiple parallel tasks and deadlines
• Good communication skills in English and Danish, written and spoken
