The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, a deep understanding of safety regulations and standards, and proven leadership experience. As an Engineering Manager at DIS, you will play a crucial role in guiding and building our team to develop, implement, and maintain safety and systems that protect both people and machinery.
Your role:
Management: As the backbone of our company, our employees are our greatest asset. You’ll play a key role in their growth, ensuring we align the right people with the right tasks.
Recruitment: Partnering with HR, you’ll be instrumental in building and expanding a top-tier team, attracting the best talent in the industry.
Customer Contact: Our customers are our partners, and you will nurture these relationships built on trust and respect. You’ll work closely with our sales team to enhance customer care and drive business development.
Industry Insight: Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with industry trends, regulations, and best practices. You’ll apply this knowledge to continuously improve our safety programs.
As part of our management team, you will help shape the strategic and business development of DIS’s expertise in Safety across different regions, collaborating with colleagues from Spain, Poland, India, and beyond.
Your Profile:
We’re seeking a visionary and dynamic Engineering Manager committed to driving DIS’s future success. Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Marine preferred).
- Experience: 5-7 years in machinery safety, process safety, or a related field, with proven leadership experience.
- Expertise: Strong knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices (ISO, OSHA, CE).
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for collaborating with diverse teams.
- Certification: Safety engineering certification is a plus.
