As Head of Life & Insurance, you will be responsible for defining the strategic direction within the life and insurance area. You will play an important role as a trusted business partner supporting the entire Group by designing, implementing and managing the global insurance program.

As Head of Life & Insurance, you will be part of a truly global organization with 340.000 colleagues and get broad exposure to all aspects within the insurance and life area, from defining the insurance and life strategy, managing global and local insurance programs and broker management to insurance support in local commercial contracts and strategic discussions on life products globally.

Group Treasury, Risk & Insurance wants to be a trusted strategic business partner within the Group, understanding the risk drivers in our business while ensuring the optimal insurance and life framework to assure the appropriate risk profile. You will interact with senior stakeholders across the organization covering most of the world from Asia/Pacific through most of Europe to the Americas.

You will serve as a key strategic advisor to the Executive Group Management (EGM) and the Audit Committee.

You will get the opportunity to contribute and develop a large global insurance and life program by working with:

• Develop, implement and manage the insurance and life strategy
• Maintain strategic partnership with insurance companies
• Annual renewal of the global insurance program
• Analyze the company risk profile to assure appropriate insurance framework
• Support the business with insurance related topics in commercial contract negotiations
• Support the local insurance colleagues
• Develop insurance claims dashboard to improve transparency
• Support with life products locally and at HQ level

We are looking for an ambitious performance-oriented person with a can-do attitude and the ability to influence and continue to improve the current setup.

We imagine that you have:

• Extended understanding of global insurance and benefit programs
• Extended understanding of legal aspects related to risk and insurance
• Experience from a similar role
• +10 years’ experience in a Corporate, Insurance company, Financial institutions or similar
• Hold a IDD or similar degree in insurance and life or a Master of Finance or Legal.
• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills (English is a requirement)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
