The position
As a Senior Manager for Primary Packaging Injectables, you will be responsible for all projects coming into sourcing operations related to primary packaging for all Novo Nordisk products. Therefore, you will support the team to navigate in this broad stakeholder landscape.

Some of your key focus include:

  • Managing a team of 10+ Project Managers, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day tasks
  • Developing and mentoring team members, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment
  • Setting the direction for project management, ensuring that all projects are executed efficiently and effectively
  • Overseeing the onboarding and training of new team members, ensuring a smooth transition and integration into the team
  • Building structure and systems for project management, establishing standards and best practices for the team

Qualifications
To be considered for this position, we imagine you:

  • Hold at least a bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, supply chain or any other relevant field
  • Possess at least 5 years of experience in project management coupled with a few years of people management experience
  • Have a keen interest in primary packaging
  • Are fluent in English, both written and spoken

As a person, you have excellent interpersonal skills and can communicate clearly and easily at all levels within the organisation. You know how to navigate in a big company with a broad stakeholder landscape. You enjoy coaching your team and creating engagement and motivation. Last but not least, you thrive in working on optimisation projects and creating structure.

About the department
You will join Material Manufacturing Development within Product Supply Sourcing Operations, which consists of 100+ employees organised in 6 teams. We are responsible for development and implementation of complex materials (raw materials, excipients, Primary Packaging materials, etc.) from development to production and maintain documentation on existing materials. We cooperate with a variety of functions, including Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC), Device R&D, Quality Control laboratories, Quality Assurance, various Novo Nordisk production sites and a range of external suppliers and contract manufacturing organisations (CMO).
