Student Assistant, Knowledge and Language Research

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a valued member of the research team, you will collaborate closely with your colleagues. Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting research on Deep Learning projects, with a focus on LLM and knowledge graph.
• Providing support for software demonstrations.
• Enhancing and curating datasets to ensure their quality and relevance.

We will have a flexible schedule in accordance with your studies. We expect you to work between 15-20 hours a week. As this is a student position, you will be paid on an hourly basis.

We also provide you with the possibility to work on a master thesis that is relevant to your student work.

Are you the right candidate?
Preferred skills:

• Proficient in Python. It is preferable if you are proficient in other popular languages, such as C#, Java, or Go.
• Some familiarity with a Deep Learning platform, such as PyTorch.
• You have completed courses or projects in AI, particularly in NLP – ideally LLMS – and are eager to learn more.
• You have some knowledge of or interest in knowledge graphs and associated technology (RDF, SPARQL, etc.)
• You excel in translating requirements into implementations, and consistently meet deadlines.

We expect that you are a master's student in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.

About the team
You will be part of the Research team, an innovative and experimentally minded team with around 20 colleagues, diverse in gender, nationalities, age, and skills. We work closely and have fun with each other.

Our primary responsibilities are exploring cutting-edge technologies and implementing solutions supporting Milestone’s future Video Management System.
