Research Assistant in Full-stack Development

This research assistant position is for 3 months and full time, at the department of Computer Science and Media Technology. It has an expected starting date no later than Oct 1 (ideally from Sep 1).

The position is part of a collaborative research project with Sports Science at Lund University. The research project focuses how a mobile phone app with AI based video analysis can support physiotherapists during rehabilitation of patients, e.g. after injury or surgery. NOTE: The AI based video analysis component is already developed and is therefore not part of the research assistant's responsibility.

We are looking for
Research Assistant in Full-stack Development at the faculty of Technology and Society.

Work duties
Your tasks will include:

• Development of a REST API, using nodejs, express, and MS SQL.
• Development of front-end, using HTML, CSS, Vue, and Quasar.
• Integration with the AI-based video analysis API.
• Testing and deployment.

Qualifications
Specific requirements for this position:

• First cycle degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent.
• Documented experience with full stack development, in particular nodejs, express, HTML, CSS, Vue.
• High proficiency (de facto equivalent to proficiency at C1 or C2 level) in written and spoken English.

The following would be of benefit for the position:

• Documented experience from development of systems for use within healthcare or fitness.
• Documented experience from deployment of applications, for example through Docker.
• Ideally able to participate in meetings in Lund/Malmo, but otherwise online.
• Reading and writing in Swedish.

The work involves computer scientists, interaction designers, professionals and users.
