MyDefence develops radio frequency-powered products to detect, and defeat unmanned aerial systems, such as drones. Our products can be worn by personnel or mounted to vehicles and buildings, and our technology is used to protect military or civilian critical infrastructure from the safety risks posed by hostile drones.
Our business is growing rapidly, and to be a part of this journey, we are seeking a Marketing Specialist to play a key role in supporting our Head of Marketing in executing and optimizing marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth.
What you will do:
Campaign development and execution: Support the roll out of marketing campaigns across a variety of platforms, from online to events. Manage all the details, keep things on track, and fine-tune our efforts based on performance insights.
Content creation and management: Produce compelling content that resonates across web and social platforms. Team up with creative partners to bring our brand’s story to life, ensuring consistency with our unique voice.
Market research and analysis: Dive into market research to uncover the latest trends and customer desires. Your analysis will help shape our product and marketing plans.
Digital marketing support: Support our digital campaigns by keeping an eye on their progress and suggesting tweaks for better results. Stay ahead of the curve with the newest digital marketing practices to keep our campaigns fresh and effective.
Collaboration and coordination: Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to create unified marketing initiatives. Assist our Head of Marketing in bringing larger marketing projects to life.
Reporting and performance tracking: Monitor our marketing efforts by tracking key metrics. Your reports will guide our strategy, ensuring we engage our audience effectively and continue to grow our brand’s reach.
What you bring:
Educational background: Relevant education in Marketing or a related field.
Experience: 2-3 years of experience in marketing, product management, or a related role.
Tools: Proficiency in digital marketing tools, content management systems, and analytics platforms. Graphic design experience desirable, but not required: Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.
Language skills: Excellent communication skills and very articulate, especially in English.
Industry: Experience from the defense industry or a tech industry is preferred but not required.
Personal skills: Creative thinker with a passion for innovative marketing solutions and a hands-on mentality. Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Ability to collaborate in a team environment and cross-functional settings. Pleasant and empathetic.
