Do you want to work with AML quality in a global organization?

Our AML Quality team based in Copenhagen are looking for team lead to help ensure the optimal decision making around our clients, both private, corporate, and institutional. You will be part of a team who are specialised in financial crime. Your team will be working toward safeguarding the AML profile of Saxo.

You will be reporting directly to Head of AML Quality and be based in our Headquarter in Copenhagen. We are located in 15 countries and are collaborating with various partners in 50+ different countries, hence a global mindset is needed to succeed in the role.

Responsibilities

You will be working with a wide variety of tasks within the financial crime space but most prominently with quality assurance of Nordic clients as well as onboarding and ODD of complex clients.

• Lead, support, and coach a team of six FTEs.
• Build and implement a cross organization AML quality assurance framework for private, corporate, and institutional customers.
• Drive the monthly AML quality agenda with reports to senior management.
• Transfer corporate onboarding from headquarter to our KYC hub in India.
• Train and scale local competences within KYC.
• Manage local stakeholders on AML and KYC matters.
• Give input to Saxo’s risk appetite and initiatives for mitigating risk measurements.
• Take part in various projects internally and ensure continuous improvement on existing initiatives.
• Give input and seek new knowledge on how we continuously keep up to date with new digital ways of working.

Your profile

• Have a relevant educational background and/or experience with different financial crime typologies, interpretation of AML regulatory requirements, risk management and compliance.
• Experience working with KYC and ODD from former positions.
• Proven leadership capabilities.
• Worked with quality control or quality assurance in former positions.
• Preferably have certifications such as CAMS/ACAMS, ICA or similar.
• Understanding of the Nordic region from an AML point of view.
• Have a minimum of 7 years of experience with AML.

You are detail-oriented, analytical, and like to have multiple projects and tasks at a time. You take pride in your work and can convert complex assessments cases into concrete actions points. You prefer in your work to be to the point in arguments and when making decisions. You find it easy to build relationships and communicate effectively on all levels and across borders in a global and dynamic environment. You are a team player, but with the capacity to work independently.
