Core Responsibilities

  • Responsible for owning the editorial and content strategy for kids across the relevant engagement channels in the connected digital ecosystem.
  • Represent the voice of kids’ engagement editorial and content across the DCE connected ecosystem and The LEGO group.
  • Provide leadership of content specialists in shaping and sharing the narrative that drives and inspires engaging user journeys.
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of high-level content development strategies across all the kids digital platforms, including budgeting and resource.
  • Apply knowledge and experience to see opportunities, risks and solutions within the evolving sphere of kids’ play.
  • Work with product and marketing leads to provide leadership and drive desired outcomes and KPI’s of channel and product key objectives.
  • Leveraging experience and insights, drive engagement and retention of through ongoing engagement within and kids’ digital touchpoints the ecosystem.
  • Collaboration with other editorial & content-led teams across The LEGO Group e.g. Social Media, The LEGO Agency, EPC etc.
  • Be the point of contact for editorial storytelling in kids’ engagement.

The Editorial and Content team is responsible for crafting, running, and marketing experiences that provide inspirational experiences to LEGO fans of all ages, across all touch points – and with this role focused on kids and tweens as the primary target audience, child safety at the core of everything we do. These experiences are important to the wider Digital Ecosystem that ties together all digital LEGO experiences in meaningful ways which builds deeper consumer engagement and improves consumer lifetime value.

We want to be at the forefront of digital kids experiences in the world, and we have a strong portfolio that keeps evolving to ensure this. The phenomenal LEGO content plays a key role on our platforms (including web, app and print media) and in this role, you will play a key part in making our experiences awesome for our consumers all over the world.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Evidence of strategic leadership (either direct or indirect) working on content-dependent digital platforms is a requirement (this could be either agency or in-house).
  • Experience of creating editorial and/or publishing strategies for digital marketing channels.
  • Previous content management skills on content heavy platforms targeted at a kids audience.
  • Proficient in working at multiple speeds / timelines and with experience of designing creative workflows.
  • Highly motivated and self-sufficient, able to identify opportunities and their potential solutions.
  • Super focused on getting the best results from a highly diverse, talented and geographically distributed content experts.
  • A collaborative and adaptable standout colleague that functions well in a fast-paced changing environment and a global team.
  • Highly adept at partner and stakeholder management with a readiness to engage and contribute.
  • Curious and eager to understand and demonstrate the latest trends and market developments in the relevant digital space.
  • Experience in the field of digital child safety would be phenomenal.
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed organisation.
  • Knowledge of Agile ways of working.
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken, we see other language skills as a benefit and would love to hear about them!
