Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engineer København, Hovedstaden, Denmark

Too Good To Go

København, Hovedstaden, Denmark

At Too Good To Go, we have an ambitious goal: to inspire and empower everyone to fight food waste together.

40% of all food produced in the world is wasted. And that has a huge impact on the health of our planet, with 10% of greenhouse gas emissions coming from food waste.

We’re more than an app: we are a certified B Corporation with a mission to empower everyone to take action against food waste, so alongside our marketplace app, we create educational tools, explore new business solutions - such as our Retail Technologies offering, and influence legislation to help reduce food waste.

We’re growing fast: Our community of 98 million registered users and 228,000 active partners across 19 countries, have together already prevented 348+ million meals from going to waste - avoiding over 941,000 tonnes of CO2e!

The Role
As the scale and complexity of Too Good To Go grows, we’re looking for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engineer to support a team of CRM Managers who will build, QA and launch all global B2B marketing planned campaigns, lifecycle marketing automated programs and operational communications.

Our ideal candidate is a technical Salesforce Marketing Cloud expert with extensive AMPScript and MC SQL experience who enjoys coaching non-CRM experienced engineering colleagues as much as CRM experienced non-technical colleagues, as well as getting their hands on operational work.

You are an expert in email marketing, marketing automation, relational databases and know how to put processes in place for the team to get things done efficiently in a fast moving environment.

You will be a part of the Tech team with the Sales Cloud experts as your nearest colleagues, this means you’ll need to be experienced and independent as you’ll be our main Marketing Cloud expert. Additionally, you will be working very closely with the B2B CRM team in Marketing who is responsible for the global strategy of lifecycle automated journeys and planned marketing campaigns. All the content and assets will be ready for you to enable and execute the right segmentation and behavioural triggers, across multiple channels including emails, SMS, Whatsapp & Push notifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical assistance when setting up journeys
  • Build a scalable setup of emails templates that allow for robust personalisation and work across different devices and clients, as well as ensuring our communication across all channels is localized for all of our markets
  • Ensure deliverability and enablement of all B2B marketing planned campaigns, lifecycle marketing automated programs and operational communications
  • Working with the marketeers on building and optimising email, sms, push, as well as launching experiments to deliver efficient B2B marketing campaigns
  • Collaborate with the Salesforce experts and the wider Tech and Product teams
  • Managing our B2B marketing database and ensuring efficient & scalable data mapping
  • Maintaining Automation Studio cadences across multiple journeys, updating the Contact Sync logic from Salesforce CRM, and adhering to Consent
  • Ensuring all the tracking is set up and working across all channels to enable the business to track campaign results and marketing impact by supporting Product Analysts on attribution models, data extracts and linking partner performance data from outside of Marketing Cloud
  • Champion and follow best practices and better ways of working with Marketing Cloud

The ideal candidate

  • Proven experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud technologies; AMPScript, MC SQL
  • Hands-on Marketing Cloud experience, delivering the execution of ad-hoc and automated marketing campaigns targeting 50,000+ partners across 10+ markets.
  • Deep understanding of the Marketing Cloud data structure, including a comprehensive command over how to set up a Contact Model in Contact Builder, create and maintain Data Extensions, and configure Automation Studio
  • Experience building email templates and multi-step Journeys in Marketing Cloud, including HTML, CSS
  • Highly logical and numbers-capable with comprehensive written and presentation skills
  • An adaptable work-style - able to translate business requirements into a technical specification and implementation (identify required data points, set up triggers, segmentation…)

Good to have

  • Experience using Salesforce and Marketing automation platforms (Hubspot, Eloqua, Pardot...)

Our values

  • We win together: Food waste is a big beast to fight. We believe in a #oneteam.
  • We raise the bar: We always push for more. We work smart, smash barriers and elevate one another.
