The Network Strategy and Platform Portfolio is building solutions to manage our network, capacity, and containers. Within the equipment management and tracking platform, we are responsible for providing the highest quality container status and location tracking versus plan and promise.
As a Platform Product Manager, you will define, execute, and deliver a product roadmap to build and enhance the technology and processes to ensure we maintain high data quality of ‘Container tracking’ events. This role is inherently cross-functional -- you will work closely with engineering, business development, operations, and other product teams within the company to bring new capabilities and ways of working to market. The scope of our products is global -- we're looking for Product Managers who know how to build products that will scale globally.
A successful candidate will be highly analytical, able to work effectively in a matrix organization, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies, business models and capabilities into high quality, simple products that customers love.
Key responsibilities
- Define the product vision, strategy, and goals.
- Define roadmaps for a complex product and processes, and manage status reports to track the progress.
- Understand the business problems and opportunities.
- Develop detailed, crisp business and data requirements and user stories.
- Define the to-be processes that together with the product deliver the outcomes.
- Manage prioritization and trade-offs between customer experience, business requirements, technical limitations, performance, and operations.
- Manage and own product outcome KPIs, and product business case and drive value realization discussion with the stakeholders.
- Manage cross-functional stakeholders.
We are looking for
- Passion for leveraging technology to enhance business outcomes.
- Experience managing complex roadmaps and collaborating with diverse teams (tech, data science, UX, business).
- Interest in technology, standardization, automation, and optimizing logistics processes.
- Ability to translate user needs and business insights into digital journeys and user stories.
- Proficiency in managing data-driven solutions, analytics, and product prioritization.
-Technical understanding of product development, data integration, testing, and roll-out in complex environments.
- Ability to evaluate solutions with the engineering team to ensure product scalability and resilience.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including effective communication and constructive challenge.
- Experience in the logistics and transport industry, particularly in transport planning and container tracking, is a plus.
- Self-motivated, independent, and committed to continuous learning.
- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and a focus on delivering results.
