We are looking for a Head of Health & Safety to join our global team in Aseptic Manufacturing (AM).

The Position
As Head of Health & Safety, you will have the following main responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of safety policies, procedures, and programs, in partnership with NN Health & Safety, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and a safe work environment for all employees in Aseptic Manufacturing.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and expertise in all areas of health and safety, working to minimize risks and promote a culture of safety across the organization.
• Lead the H&S network in Aseptic Manufacturing in the development and delivery of health and safety training programs for employees and management.
• Communicate health and safety initiatives and requirements to all levels of the organization, promoting a strong safety culture.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety considerations are integrated into new projects, facilities, and processes.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of health and safety professionals, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

• Relevant Master’s degree and specific courses related to EHS.
• Deep knowledge of GMP and ISO45001.
• Minimum, around 5-7 years of relevant experience within health and safety processes and EHS management.
• Deep cross-functional work experience with high subject matter expertise.
• Preferable local management in EHS experience from a CVP area.
• Solid teaching and coaching colleagues’ experience.
• Demonstrated impact of competencies and know-deployed critical execution of core processes in the area.
• Familiarity with basic risk management concepts, techniques, and tools NN uses.
• Professional fluency in both written and spoken English.

On a personal level, we are looking for someone with leadership program skills, and could be relevant if it has experience in people’s leadership. The ideal person should possess good communication and negotiation skills, be analytic, proactive, and organized, with strong interpersonal skills and ability to build up networks. Should be ready and prepared for changes and able to drive tasks forward ensuring results.

Aseptic Manufacturing Engineering (AME) plays a key role in accelerating a major transformation to improve performance across our global network of factories in Asia, Europe as well as North and South America to meet the need of the increasing number of people living with diabetes and obesity.
