Who you are

As a Compliance Manager in the Compliance Testing Team at Klarna, you will be integral to ensuring the design and effectiveness of operational controls to meet both internal standards and regulatory compliance across financial crime, regulatory compliance, and privacy areas. You will be navigating a complex organizational set-up and engaging with colleagues across multiple teams, working on fast-paced projects balancing business needs and tight deadlines with accuracy, details and analytical approaches. This role is dynamic, offering a versatile experience and varied tasks.

What you will do

• Plan and Execute Testing Activities: Carry out testing in alignment with overall compliance strategies. Engage in testing and evaluating control frameworks and internal processes.
• Analysis and Reporting: Analyze regulatory requirements and internal policies alongside risk assessment outputs to prioritize testing areas. Document findings meticulously, and draft reports that communicate risks and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
• Findings Management: Actively manage and monitor the resolution of compliance observations made during testing, ensuring robust follow-up and closure of actions.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with operational teams and other key stakeholders, facilitating effective communication and timely mitigation of identified risks.

Who you are

• Minimum 3 years of experience of control processes related to regulatory compliance or privacy within the financial services, FinTech, or payments processing sector
• Experience in risk management, compliance, internal audit, or control testing, preferably within the financial sector.
• Proficient in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage projects.
• Proven excellence in interacting with internal business teams and stakeholders
