Department Manager for Application Design

You’ll will play an important role in: As a department manager, you will play an important role in fostering a culture of collaboration and communication across the organization and with external stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Structuring, executing, and communicating tasks to stakeholders
• Having a strategic business mindset for new business product development and maturing
• Managing people, including recruitment, training, professional development, and performance evaluation.
• Managing internal and external stakeholders
• Leading day-to-day administrative tasks

You will be based in our office in Copenhagen (in 2027 we move to Trekroner close to Roskilde)

We imagine that you: As a Manager, you find fulfillment in leading people and fostering their development. Excels in communication, and relationship-building. You are fluent in English, and it would be beneficial if you also have an understanding of Danish. We appreciate it if you possess leadership experience in technical experts and business acumen.

Welcome to Application Design You will lead a team of 10 engineers with a variety of backgrounds and work tasks.

We make application design for Engine supply system and Maintenance Tools for the engines.

The department develop, design, and take part in product management axillary equipment for the new fuel type engines, i.e., LNG, LPG, Methanol and Ammonia. Fuels with lower environmental footprint.

This involves working with various technologies and processes for the marine industry, being precise mechanical equipment, high pressure hydraulic system, cryogenic equipment, liquid gas and gaseous gas, skid design, etc.

Further design and development of Maintenance Tools for the large two-stroke engines require creative solutions for ensuring proper service and maintenance conditions.
