Resurs Bank is currently on a transformation journey to become a more competitive bank by offering our partners and customers better products and services. While we are exchanging our core banking system and moving to the Cloud, we enable secure innovation from the bottom up.
Now, we are looking for a Cyber Security Engineer who knows that feeling - of successfully working with security and spreading the word that security is more important than a cup of coffee (and we all know how important coffee is!).

Get an idea of the role
As a Cyber Security Engineer you will…

• Manage and oversee security systems and regulations within the bank's Nordic operations, staying updated on the latest technologies and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with the SOC to improve threat detection and overall security posture, including conducting threat modelling and analysis.
• Participate in strategic security decision-making, offering guidance on operational security matters.
• Lead and document security-related changes, incident responses, and compliance efforts, ensuring proactive risk management.
• Support colleagues with security inquiries and work closely with cross-functional teams to establish robust security protocols across the organization.
• Stay updated on governance documents and their delegated authorities, as well as promptly report any misapplication or deviations from these guidelines.

On a personal level

• University degree, preferably within areas such as Vocational training in IT Infrastructure, including Linux, Windows, AWS, Azure, and Networking, combined with certifications from relevant providers.
• ITIL knowledge (Foundation level), CISSP certification, analytical skills, and experience in documentation.
• Broad and/or deep professional experience within the field.
• Independent and self-driven, able to lead and collaborate effectively across teams, with an understanding of regulated environments as a plus.
• Work experience as a developer, preferably Cloud, and in Monitoring in a Cloud environment.
