Experienced Process Engineer

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled individual to join our team as Process Engineer. You will play a key part in advancing our capabilities and ensuring quality solutions for our client’s projects and plants within renewables and engine power generation plants as well as power-to-x facilities.

You will join our Technology Function where you will work alongside our engineering colleagues within a wide range of disciplines from Process engineering, Layout, Mechanical engineering and Automation. We support BWSC's business areas and customers globally with engineering deliveries. This we do within plant design, technical troubleshooting, and plant optimization during the lifetime of the plants. We are involved in the complete life cycle from sales & proposal to project execution and subsequent services and modifications.

Moreover, we foresee that you are experienced in several of the below:

• Operation and maintenance of power plants or similar industrial experience
• Asset management strategies ensuring a high availability and minimum OPEX
• Data analysis of operational data from the plants
• Design and engineering of Balance of plant solutions for energy facilities
• Design and process calculations of power plants and/or power-to-x facilities
• Continuous asset improvement programs
• Site support and troubleshooting
• Commissioning experience
• Knowledge of risk assessment procedure such as ATEX, HAZOP
• Thermodynamics expertise in water/steam cycle
• Quality Assurance in engineering work
  

Experienced engineer with interdisciplinary skills
You have a true mindset of an engineer and are a BSc or MSc within chemical or mechanical engineering or similar. You can work efficiently on an individual and independent basis as well as work in a team. The output of your work and verbal explanations and sketches can easily be understood by others.

We expect that you are proficient in spoken and written English including technical English, and willing to travel 20-50 days per year. You have a personal drive, and you will find your way around the organization to find whatever relevant information is needed for technical and coordination purposes. As a senior engineer you find it natural to coach and act as mentor to less experienced colleagues.
