Then you might be our new Technical Project Manager at Ammongas- a new strategic pillar in European Energy’s business portfolio.

Your New Team
You will be part of the Ammongas´ Technical Project & Service Engineering team which consists of 12 colleagues located in different geographies, working closely together with our project, business development, and commercial teams. We tailor solutions to our Biogas and RNG customers who wish to produce green biofuel and green CO2. We have entered new markets as many countries are looking for proven solutions to support their way to a green energy transition, driven by national and international project developers ranging from farmers to large energy groups.

Your New Role
As our new Technical Project Manager, you will be part of an exciting journey and influence Ammongas´ Biogas/RNG expansion in North America. You will coordinate technical projects from A-Z, handle meetings with stakeholders, give technical sparring including QA & QC on work done by Project Engineers, and report back to the HQ on continuous commissioning and troubleshooting. In addition, you will work closely with our commercial team being an Ammongas´ ambassador in North America.

Scope of Work

  • Technical Project management of biogas upgrading plants
  • Provide technical support for project managers, coordinators, and customers
  • Give sparring to customers and operation leads at the biogas upgrading plants
  • Ensure efficient project planning from design to commissioning
  • Handle cashflow reporting
  • Ensure efficient maintenance planning for various plants
  • Manage dimensioning of pumps, heat exchangers, and pipes
  • Create and update a BOM
  • Provide drawings in 2D and 3D
    • For 2D – GA, Battery Limits, Isometric and PID
    • For 3D – Piping and Instrumentation
  • Provide inspections of workshop production and onsite construction
  • Handle IO-test, hot and cold commissioning, pressure and leakage testing
  • Ensure service onsite once the plant is in operation

Prerequisites to Progress in the Job

  • You have a degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
  • You have +5 years of experience in engineering, and technical project management
  • You are a proficient user of AutoCAD 3D, Office 360, and MS Projects
  • You are fully proficient in English

Ammongas- At a Glance
Ammongas was founded in 2002 and is one of the market leaders in Denmark when it comes to upgrading biogas through CO2 separation. In recent years, the company has moved more into ​​CO2 capture and liquefaction and has one of the first operational pilot projects in Denmark. Ammongas is in the process of an internationalization process with several projects outside Denmark’s borders in Europe and the USA.

Ammongas was acquired by European Energy in 2022 to facilitate new possibilities in developing biogas upgrading and carbon capture in Denmark and abroad.
