Do you want to combine your data and analytical mind-set with a good business understanding to deliver optimized supply plans? Are you passionate about supply planning, and do you thrive in a dynamic and international environment with many stakeholders? Do you want to contribute to improving the lives of our patients? If so, then you may be the perfect fit for the role of Associate Supply Chain Planner in Global Contract Manufacturing Devices (GCMD) at Novo Nordisk. Apply today for a life-changing career.

The Position
As an Associate Supply Chain Planner, you will be responsible for securing the supply of components for Novo Nordisk devices, ensuring on-time and in-full deliveries from our suppliers (external) to our manufacturing sites (internal) located around the globe. Driven by high sales growth at Novo Nordisk, we currently operate in a network where the supply/demand balance is challenged. You will need to maintain a good overview, coordinate closely with our suppliers and internal stakeholders, and take actions to resolve challenges on both operational and tactical horizons.

Your tasks will include:

  • Optimizing operational and tactical plans in our planning systems and following up on deliveries.
  • Monitoring inventory levels of components in our network and leading supply risk mitigations.
  • Facilitating efficient dialogue with our stakeholders and defining optimal inventory policies.
  • Ensuring correct master data and transaction data in our systems.
  • Building strong relations with our external and internal stakeholders.

You are also expected to drive optimization projects and initiatives to ensure we keep improving our supply chain. This could include inventory optimization projects, process improvements, and product launches.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • An academic degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or a similar field with ideally some years of relevant work experience.
  • Solid business understanding combined with hands-on experience in either operational or tactical planning.
  • Experience working with advanced planning tools such as SAP APO, OMP, or similar.
  • Fluency in English; Danish is not a requirement.
  • An interest in BI tools like Alteryx and Tableau is a plus.

You should also have a sharp eye for detail, a strong analytical mind, and excellent problem-solving skills. You enjoy working with systems and understand the importance of reliable data.

As a person, you have an international mindset and strong collaboration and stakeholder skills. You communicate clearly and concisely and are motivated by optimizations and improvements. You can work both independently and with others, delivering high-quality output and meeting deadlines. You also show resilience when priorities change and when dealing with urgent supply situations.

About the Department
You will be part of the Supply Chain Department within Global Contract Manufacturing Devices (GCMD). We are responsible for supplier management, planning, and purchasing of components going into the majority of Novo Nordisk devices.

You will join a diverse team of eight dedicated colleagues with diverse backgrounds and nationalities. We strive for openness, to make tomorrow better than today while keeping a good sense of humor. We take pride in developing our skills in the team and in contributing to the well-being of people with diabetes and chronic diseases.
