If so, then you might be the person we are looking for to join the Global Talent Acquisition team at Novo Nordisk as our new Vice President of Global Talent Acquisition Partnering & Delivery.

The location of this role is preferably in Copenhagen, Denmark. Alternatively, it could be based in one of our European hubs - Warsaw, Madrid or London.

The position
As Vice President of Global Talent Acquisition Partnering & Delivery, you will oversee between 18,000-20,000 recruitments annually across all Novo Nordisk geographies and across the value chain. Your mission will be to ensure uninterrupted supply of talent to Novo Nordisk, while enabling scalability of the end-to-end hire process by implementing our global hire process standards and to deliver a great experience to our hiring managers and candidates. You will do this by continuously evolving the Global Talent Acquisition Partnering & Delivery organization towards our global operating model without compromising the well-being of your teams and the quality of our deliverables. You will embark on this journey together with a highly engaged and international team of 180+ TA professionals.

Anchored in our Global Talent Acquisition Centre of Excellence, you will report to Isabella Rinder, Corporate Vice President of Global Talent Acquisition and will become part of the Global Talent Acquisition Leadership Team.

Your main responsibilities can be summarised as follows:

  • Lead the Global Talent Acquisition Partnering & Delivery organisation in line with Novo Nordisk values, ensuring people engagement and development.
  • Build strong partnership with the wider P&O organisation and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor the labour market developments to spot risks and opportunities and make necessary adjustments to ensure uninterrupted supply of talent to Novo Nordisk.
  • Own strategic TA initiatives and operational KPIs, driving the necessary actions and helping the organisation to prioritise accordingly.
  • Focus continuously on harmonization and improvement of hiring managers’ and candidates’ experiences across Novo Nordisk.
  • Ensure compliance with recruitment policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
  • Ensure the optimal balance of capacity and right level of capabilities across Global Talent Acquisition Partnering & Delivery, while delivering on budgetary commitments.

Qualifications

  • Solid people leadership experience with responsibility at global or multiple regional levels, including leading leaders.
  • Ability to skilfully drive change, while safeguarding engagement and psychological safety.
  • Proven track record of driving TA transformation at a cross regional scale and ensuring operational excellence.
  • Ability to develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies that align with business needs and objectives, taking into consideration external labour market trends, talent availability and competitor landscape.
  • Track record of successfully managing a complex global stakeholder landscape.
  • Experience managing complex budgets and implementation of cost efficient and scalable recruitment practices.
