The Position
You will have the following responsibilities:

  • Lead the global AM Production Support network, taking responsibility for driving global network leadership, while communicating and negotiating with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead the AM Production support network in prioritizing and driving significant initiatives within Aseptic manufacturing (AM), to achieve sustainable impact in the areas within the scope of Production Support, globally.
  • Drive global programs with cross organizational assignments and deliverables important Aseptic Manufacturing.
  • Bring AM to the best Industry level by supporting sites in driving performance across Production Support areas. These include, but are not limited to, Health & Safety, Obsolescence management, Facilities, and Utilities.
  • Ensure successful and standardized execution and guarantee the achievement of specified targets through close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

The position is ideal for a dedicated, highly experienced, and results-driven candidate, who enjoys working in a global, collaborative, and open-minded environment.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we are looking for a candidate with the following background:

  • Ideally, educational background (MSc, MBA,…) from Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or similar.
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in Project Management and min. 5 years of leading cross-functional and perhaps global projects.
  • +10 years’ experience as line manager and at least 5 years of global team management.
  • Broad leadership experience and business development driving complex change management initiatives.
  • Proven track record of leading leaders and building effective working relationships both internally and externally.
  • International mindset and experience from global projects and/or working at international sites.
  • Proven experience in managing cross-functional projects in a global context with a complex stakeholder landscape (from DIR level and up).
  • Professional competence in written and spoken English.

You are detail oriented and enjoys providing structures and strong processes, to optimize performance. Additionally, you are able to build a shared vision of success, even in complex situations or when solutions may not be clear.

About the department
The department is a newly established organizational unit called Aseptic Manufacturing Engineering (AME). With almost 150 colleagues, we play a key role in accelerating a major transformation to improve performance across a global network of factories to meet the need of the increasing number of people living with diabetes and obesity. AME is an organizational unit in Aseptic Manufacturing (AM), which is the largest production area in Novo Nordisk with more than 10,000 employees.
Our projects provide exposure to Heads of manufacturing for all team members, and we develop our talents by continuously investing in both personal and professional development and strive to offer a steep learning curve.
