HR Business Partner in Development, Novo Nordisk

The Position
You will be the HR Business Partner to leaders at CVP level and their business areas in the Development area in Novo Nordisk.

Your key focus is to understand the business priorities and translate strategy into relevant and impactful HR actions.

In close collaboration with your stakeholders, you will be continuously reviewing, assessing and evolving the business to drive organisational performance and development. You will be working closely with Centres of Excellence within P&O in defining and executing initiatives identified to improve the business areas’ ability to seize business opportunities and overcome challenges. You will be shaping and fostering an engaging, diverse and inclusive employee environment, rooted in our values - the Novo Nordisk Way.

Besides the tasks in the business areas you support, you will work with your P&O colleagues in Development on cross-organisational P&O processes and initiatives.

Qualifications

You are characterised by being a strong and pragmatic enforcer with a strategic mindset and a solution-driven attitude. As a trusted advisor, you will build solid relationships and you are respected by stakeholders because you drive things forward and have a high personal integrity, which allows you to offer your perspectives respectfully whilst also being curious about other perspectives. It is natural for you to bridge opinions, among other things, by demonstrating good cultural understanding and stakeholder management. You focus on what matters most for the business and can prioritise between many interests.

We look forward to meeting candidates who ideally have:

  • 3+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner within a large, international, and culturally diverse environment and with change management and organisational development
  • Relevant academic degree within HR, Organization, Business Psychology or similar
  • Experienced in process facilitation
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken

About the P&O Team
The P&O department for Development consists of 16 highly engaged colleagues. Divided in sub-teams, we work as One P&O and aim to provide enterprise, scalable P&O solutions to the business with a close eye on implementing those in a meaningful way in the local business areas. We dedicate time to provide sparring to each other in the team to continuously develop our P&O skills just as you will have access to a strong global toolbox for P&O Business Partners.

Our colleagues in Development strive to deliver best-in class, innovative treatment solutions to the benefit of patients. They are responsible for managing development and approval of new drugs and devices worldwide, from early development phases to product launch and beyond. They provide medical and scientific expertise and documentation for authorities and decisions makers broadly, while ensuring that the process lives up to global standards, regulations, and business ethics.
