As a Splunk Data Specialist, you can look forward to:

• Develop and maintain Linux and Python scripts to automate data collection and processing tasks.
• Perform Splunk data administration and system administration tasks to manage indexes, optimize searches, and ensure system performance.
• Connect to network nodes to retrieve data, requiring robust networking skills and the ability to establish stable connectivity.
• Utilize Splunk’s Search Processing Language (SPL) to create complex searches, reports, and dashboards.
• Collaborate with various business stakeholders, requiring great communication skills and the ability to translate technical details into business insights.
• Apply AI and machine learning techniques to enhance predictive analytics capabilities.

About you
The ideal candidate for the Splunk Data Specialist position is someone who combines technical expertise with great interest for collaboration and continuous learning. We seek an individual who thrives in an international team environment and is committed to delivering solutions for our customers. A genuine sense of responsibility and a customer-centric mindset are essential.

Educationally, the candidate should have a Master’s degree in Information Technology, Economics, Machine Learning, or other technical/quantitative field.

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with Splunk in a data-intensive environment.
• Experience with Splunk SPL and familiarity with Splunk’s core functionalities.
• Strong foundation in networking principles and experience with network configuration and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, JavaScript, C, or Perl is valuable.
• Ability to work individually and in a team environment, with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and great communication abilities to effectively collaborate with business stakeholders.
• Applicants must be eligible for security clearance application (minimum 7 years consecutive in EU or NATO country), since it is required for employment in your position, and the maintenance of this, that you can get security clearance.

Furthermore, it is advantageous if you have:

• Demonstrated expertise in delivering machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions.
• Experience with SAFe way of working – you will participate in many of our SAFe ceremonies, such as team syncs, PI plannings, feature grooming, refinement sessions, etc.
• Relevant Splunk certifications (e.g., Splunk Certified Admin, Splunk Certified Power User).
